Livelihood projects to be successful need to undertake a systematic project planning exercise and integrate effective and efficient management systems. A successful project planning entails efficient allotment of its physical, financial and human resources in accordance with the deliverables and the timelines in which these are to be achieved. The process may involve undertaking problem analysis, objective analysis, arriving at project activities – outputs – outcomes and impact to be expected. A Management Information System (MIS) also need to be in place to monitor project progress. Management systems for effective management of project need to be in place. ILRT extends livelihood project planning and management support for LPOs.
